I finally decided to actually do my Kickstarter, yay! This thing has been a total labor of love, let me tell you. It’s been about six months in the making, hundreds of dollars, countless time doing edits, tweaks, obsessing over everything, making sure it’s all right 40 times, and hoping I have my numbers all correct! This project came about because I wanted an ita bag, that was TTRPG themed, that wasn’t massive. For some reason, people make all of these as gigantic backpacks.. and I wanted something smaller, that was more suitable as a purse, more ideal for every day use. I went with a backpack style, due to my chronic pain, and a shoulder bag not agreeing with me. When wearing a shoulder bag, even if it weighs pretty much nothing, it causes massive ache in whatever shoulder it’s on, and eventually both as I swap it. I don’t have as much issues with a backpack-style, when the weight is distributed across.

I also added all of the pockets. Because I like having pockets to stash things, and for easier access so I don’t have to dig all through my purse for my Chapstick, or my hand sanitizer, or a pen. Or you know, whatever. Or phone. I hate it when my phone gets lost in the void. So yeah, there’s pockets on the front, pockets on the sides, and a pocket even in the back! The inside also has lots of pockets for you to organize your stuff. Or at least keep your pens from sinking to the bottom of the bag!

I went with purple for the insert/interior on this one, because purple is my second favorite color (after black!). I had originally planned on doing red, but it ended up feeling too dark and didn’t make the insert pop enough, so purple it is! I had also planned on doing a custom fabric for the interior (which we couldn’t prototype anyway due to costs) but decided against it due to how much it drove the unit price up. The purple also works well for the interior, since it’s so light, it makes it much easier to find things.

I’ve had some people tell me “THiS iS a CoPy!!!!!” Hi, no, it isn’t. There are other d20 ita bags out on the market, but if you actually compare side by side, they’re quite different. My bag is a totally different shape than the backpack that is currently out there. It has very different construction, and features. I also worked very hard to make sure it was different. The only thing similar is the window shape (and mine is even a different orientation!) and the colors. But you know what? A lot of people like black bags, and I like purple. So get over it. If you don’t like it? Don’t back it. Simple as that. There’s no reason to comment on my posts and be nasty. There’s no reason to shit on something that someone (me, I’m someone!) has spent many hours and lots of dollars to bring to fruition. Just scroll on by!
