Hasn’t it? Now the question is, do I just go ahead and continue, or do I remove old posts to start fresh? It’s quite the quandary, isn’t it? Well, I suppose it really is trivial given the realm of one’s life, but I digress!
It’s been an exciting couple of days for me, though, in terms of the internet/geek/gamer world. I got my very first contributor tier for Habitica, which is awesome.
For those of you wondering, Habitica is a productivity app, that has various types of todo lists and it is all themed as a game. Doing your tasks levels up your character, you can also join a party to do quests, you can collect pets and mounts (I was hooked right here haha), and there’s also a good social aspect to it as well with the various guilds that people have made!
Secondly, earlier today, I managed to make affiliate status with Twitch! This means I can now take subscriptions through their platform, as well as a few other bells and whistles. This is pretty awesome, and something I tried for a while ago and didn’t manage to make, so getting it now is fantastic. I’d forgotten how much work streaming is, though. You really have to treat it like it’s a job for it to be worthwhile, you have to put a lot of time and effort into it.
In non-internet related new, Neb and I moved in the middle of January, so we’re in our own house now. Sadly I haven’t managed to whip up much for decorations yet, but I’ll get there!
He was also sweet enough to get me a heat press, so I can sell some heat transfer vinyl things, so keep an eye for a shop soon. I have to set everything up, but once I do I’ll get a link to it in my navigation bar.
As far as the website goes, I’m still fiddling around and working on things, installing new plugins, removing old ones, messing with my template design and so on. It’s a work in progress, but it will get there. I’ll update again soon with a more fleshed out post and go into some of my goals for this year, as well as what I’m doing for planning and fibercrafts.
